Monstaz inthe Statik is a four-man Hip-Hop group including Joseph "MedsRX" Higares, Ruslin "Morbid" Paap, Marco "Child Of Raw Elements" Villalobos (known as C.O.R.E) and Rudy "Appature" Garcia. Formed by MedsRX in 2007, they began recording the LP, ANTIDOTE.MONEY.MUSIK, in 2009 at Pill Box AIR studios in East Side San Jose with the plan to make a mark on the underground scene of San Jose, the Greater Bay area and the World at large. Believing they could create a sound that transcends the mainstream-underground barrier while remaining true to their artistic instincts and integrity, MITS built a 70-minute album that doubles as fable narrative about he industry's current state. The songs take you from Bay slump to East Coast thump, from gutter street anthems to summer struts. It holds a uniquely diverse yet cohesive ambiance. With this Album, the Farmacy's flagship crew appears to have achieved the almost unattainable type of project in that it has enough of what every Hip-Hop listener wants without alienating either the casual fan or the most devout subterranean head. Play it through your favorite speakers and we are confident you will find yourself hooked to this monstrous musical medicine.
